Lavendering much? Oh yeah...Feel good vibe or obsession?

When it comes to Lavender, there's a very fine line between just a feel good vibe and the obsession, because it makes you feel so good, relaxed and Zen, that you just keep craving for that same feeling.

Lavender has many medicine uses, it can soothe burns, induce sleep, reduce anxiety and stress, and treat aching muscles and joints. It is also known for having antifungal properties and reducing inflammation. It can help keep eczema at bay and can also be used to treat psoriasis. The lavender oil helps cleanse your skin and lessen redness and irritation.

The first product I created, the Healing Salve, had Lavender Essential Oil, not only for its scent, but for its properties as well. It was created for my youngest son, Connor, who was battling multiple skin allergies and eczema. Connor had such a sensitive skin, that when he was born he was even allergic to tap water! I saw massive improvements, on his skin, just a couple of days after using the Healing Salve!

Another way that I have used Lavender, is by putting a few drops of Lavender Essential Oil in boiling water, or just boiling water and Lavender and inhaling the vapours. It helps when we have a cold or when my asthma plays up. It does wonders...

When I was a little girl, my grandma used to fill some cotton bags with lavender and put in my drawers, so it would keep my clothes smelling nice and I'd feel good. I still make my own bags and put in my drawers, until this day.

It is not a surprise that most my products have Lavender or that I'd send a few Lavender stems, to my customers, in every order. I love the idea of sending a bit of the feel good vibe, to everyone. They can use it wherever they want, even put it inside their pillow cases, to help them sleep better!

The lavender that I use for both my house and to send to customers is from a small family business, located in Devon, Salvatore Tripi. Their lavender has an amazing quality and its scent last ages...the tiny bunch, you can see in the photo, is from the first batch, I've ordered from them, in March 2021!

What can I say? Lavender is the most versatile thing ever, you can use it for most things. I love Lavender and cannot live without it!

Now, you know why I use Lavender so much...it makes me happy!
